Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Substance Misuse Nurses to fill a full-time role in Manchester. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of substance misuse nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The pay rate for this locum Substance Misuse Nurse role is negotiable with the client and is an initial 4-month contract.
Main Duties:
- 22-bed specialist in-patient detoxification unit
- To be involved in a range of activities to help us provide the best possible experience to those who come to us for treatment and support
- From administering medication and facilitating groups, to managing admissions and handling discharges, you'll ensure our services are never short of the highest quality
- Acting as a professional role model, you will take part in Clinical Supervision and offer clinical and line management supervision to more junior members of staff and act as a mentor for Student Nurses
Requirements of the Substance Misuse Nurse:
- Current NMC registration
- Significant experience as a substance misuse nurse
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing
