Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment agency has a job based in Guernsey for a committed and dedicated Band 5 Staff Nurse to work full time within a Surgical Ward.
The salary for this permanent Staff Nurse job is £30,566 - £39,560 per annum.
Duties:
- Supervising and participating in the professional and skills development of qualified and unqualified nursing staff
- Work across acute services which include pain management, infection control, diabetes, breast care, urology, stoma care and osteoporosis
- Care for oncology patients
- Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care for patients, delivering this within the current ward philosophy
- Regularly act as ward co-ordinator as well as taking charge of the ward and supervising nursing staff on a regular basis
Requirements of the Staff Nurse:
- Relevant qualification
- Active NMC Registration
