Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist Lead to work full-time within a Learning Disabilities Team based in Redbridge.
The pay rate for this locum Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist role is £32.56 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main duties:
- Majority of work is Dysphagia related carrying out assessments and reviews
- Allocation of cases to Band 5 and overseeing communication work carried out
- The post carries a full caseload which incorporates cases with priority SLT needs and also provides specialist individual SLT assessments
- Joint working with Acute services
- MDT working with other LD Clinicians
- Long and short term interventions
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registered as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
