Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 7 Brain Injury Speech and Language Therapist to work part-time based in Horsham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Speech and Language Therapist job is £25 - £27 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Main purpose will be to work as part of an interdisciplinary team providing speech and language therapy input to clients with acquired brain injury.
- To liaise with internal and external professionals, family members and clients.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapist
- HCPC registered as a Speech and Language Therapist
- At least 2 years post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Knowledge of assessment tools
- Experience of working collaboratively and co-operatively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience of working with young people and/or adults with ABI
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good analytical and reflection skills
- Negotiation and problem solving skills
- Good organisational skills
- Must be a car driver
