Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6/7 Adults Acute Speech and Language Therapist to work based in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Speech and Language Therapist job is £25-£30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract. The Band 6 works 32 hours a week and Band 7 works 27 hours a week.
About the role:
The SLT services support a variety of speech, language and communication and/or dysphagia needs, covering community, inpatient and specialist settings across the city and county for children, young people and adults with physical, mental health needs or developmental conditions/delay including Intellectual Disability and Developmental Language Disorder.
The SLT services also include preventative information and guidance, working to empower parents, carers, other professionals and agencies to support speech, language and communication skills as well as eating and drinking.
SLTs provide individual assessment, individual and group therapy and management, training, advice and liaison through a consultative and coaching approaches, as appropriate
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapist
HCPC registered as a Therapist
Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
