Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6/7 Speech and Language Therapist to work full-time based in Parsons Green, South West London. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Speech and Language Therapist job is £26 - £31 depending on experience per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- Working in mainstream schools - mixture of primary and secondary schools
- Delivery of therapy and wider support outlined on children's Education health and care plans
- Working with and training school staff to deliver SLT interventions
- Assessment and report writing to contribute to annual reviews including liaison with parents
- Assessing children going through statutory assessment process and writing reports to outline SLT needs in line with our internal processes
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapist
- HCPC registered as a Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
