Sanctuary Health is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Band 6 Adults Community Speech and Language Therapists to work full-time based in Coventry. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for these locum Speech and Language Therapist jobs are £25.39 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
About the role:
- Based in the Community, you will provide assessment and intervention to adults in their own home and community settings using experience and proven skills in dysphagia and rehabilitation intervention to deliver patient centered; goal focused approach to care.
- The team works collaboratively with Speech and Language Therapy colleagues across therapy pathways to facilitate evidenced based practice.
- The Community Speech and Language Therapy team also provides outpatient clinics for voice, dysfluency and FEES assessment offering scope for the post holder to broaden clinical skill and expertise in a variety of clinical areas, as appropriate.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Band 6 Adult Speech and Language Therapist
- HCPC registered as a Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Band 6 Adult Speech and Language Therapist
- Experience in an acute hospital and experience in dysphagia
- 2 years' experience
