Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to work full-time based in Glasgow. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The salary for this Speech and Language Therapist job is £35,000 per annum and is on a permanent basis.
Duties:
- Manage, with support and supervision, and prioritise a caseload of clients with complex mental/physical health needs and/or challenging behaviour
- Use evidence based/client centred principles and clinical reasoning to assess, plan, implement and evaluate intervention
- Formulate treatment plans in consultation with the client
- Carry out risk assessments relating to the client
- Develop programmes of care, monitor, evaluate and modify treatment in order to measure - progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapist
- HCPC and RCSLT registration
- Experience of working with young people and/or adults with ABI
- Dysphagia Qualification
- Good analytical and reflection skills
- Negotiation and problem solving skills
