Sanctuary Health has a permanent job vacancy for a Specialist Team Manager to work full-time with a leading private healthcare provider in Wandsworth. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.

The salary for this permanent Specialist Team Manager role is £30,000 per annum.

Summary:

  • We are looking to recruit an experienced Specialist Team Manager with a background in Mental Health, to join us at our supported housing service on Thrale Road. You will be at the forefront of the close-knit team of experienced professionals to lead the team in supporting clients with mental health during their recovery to becoming independent.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide specialist input for the staff and customers as directed by the service specification and the needs of the service.
  • To ensure the delivery of a high quality supported service for customers with mental health and complex needs which reflects best practice and adheres to all relevant legislation and performance standards.
  • Recruit, support and supervise staff, setting and demanding professional standards of working.
  • To provide the customer with relevant clinical input.
  • Provide leadership and line management, supervision and appraisal to designated support staff.
  • Develop and maintain positive links with local statutory and independent sector services and ensuring referrals and assessment issues are dealt in a timely fashion.

Requirements:

  • A relevant professional qualification in the area of expertise (i.e. counselling or psychology).
  • A minimum of 2 years working experience relevant to mental health.
  • Experience working in community settings therapeutically, including assessments, designing interventions and demonstrating outcomes.
  • Experience of developing clinical interventions for both staff and customers.
  • Knowledge and understanding of up to date legislation and government frameworks relevant to mental health
