Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist Lead to work based in Havering.
The pay rate for this locum Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist role is £26.27 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Main duties:
- Independently manage and differential diagnose a caseload of clients with communication needs
- Devise and deliver appropriate specialist intervention/care plans/enhanced models of SLT for clients with complex communication needs and provide suitable and timely support
- Undertake feeding/swallowing assessment and support according to the post holder's level of experience/training and as required of the role
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy
- HCPC registered as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
