Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award-winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to work full-time based in Havering.
The pay rate for this locum Specialist Speech and Language Therapist job is £26.27per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Duties:
- Independently manage and differentially diagnoses a caseload of clients with communication needs
- Devise and deliver appropriate specialist intervention/care plans/enhanced models of SLT for clients with complex communication needs and provide suitable and timely support
- Undertake feeding/swallowing assessment and support
- Work as part of the integrated multi-disciplinary team ensuring the delivery of joined-up care plans
- Contribute to multidisciplinary support for clients with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties
- Provide feedback, advice and training to family members, carers and members of the multidisciplinary team regarding communication needs and swallowing difficulties and strategies to facilitate the development
- Develop and deliver training and support packages
Requirements of the Specialist Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapist
- HCPC registered as a Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
