Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to work full-time based in Blackheath. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Speech and Language Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The salary for this permanent Speech and Language Therapist job is £33,208 per annum (LTD Company Equivalent)
Summary:
- To independently manage a highly complex SLT caseload of service users with acquired neurological disorders. This includes carrying out assessment and devising needs led, co-ordinated programmes for communication and swallowing disorders, maintaining high standards of clinical care. To support ongoing development and maintenance of clinical skills through CPD.
- To work as part of the Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service multidisciplinary team for service users with complex acquired neurological impairments within an inpatient intensive rehabilitation setting.
- To participate in service developments, in-house and external training of non-SLT staff in line with professional experience.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapist
- HCPC registered as a Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
