Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award-winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Specialist Physiotherapist to work full-time based in Garforth.
The salary for this permanent Specialist Physiotherapist job is £37,890 per annum.
Main Duties:
• Work within a specialist clinical area as an autonomous professional with support and supervision (which may be remote) or a more senior Physiotherapist for more complex cases.
• Undertake comprehensive neurological assessments, analyses, and treatment plans.
• Work pro-actively as part of the multi/interdisciplinary team providing physiotherapy input within the BIRT neurobehavioral/ neuropsychological model.
• Provide sufficient specialist clinical support and supervision to students, assistants, and physiotherapy colleagues for them to carry-out their clinical roles effectively.
• Use knowledge and skills required for safe moving and handling of service user both community and inpatient environments, including when working with individuals with challenging behaviour.
• Supervise/mentor and provide in service training for others (therapy assistants, students, support workers and less experienced physiotherapy colleagues). Actively identify learning needs of the team, challenge complacency and ensure that good quality, regular supervision, and appraisal are carried out and recorded.
Requirements of the Specialist Physiotherapist:
• Degree or equivalent within Physiotherapy.
• HCPC registered as a Physiotherapist.
• Recent post qualifying experience working as a Physiotherapist.
