Sanctuary Personnel, a committed and competitive recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Sonographer to work full-time based in Guernsey.
The pay rate for these locum Sonographer jobs is £50 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Provide a sonographic service with autonomous reporting utilising Voice Recognition software
- Provide obstetric scanning service
- If clinically competent to include other body areas such as the abdomen, pelvis, vascular and musculoskeletal ultrasound providing an autonomous sonographer radiology report for all areas that have had an ultrasound scan performed by individual
- Perform a range of high standard diagnostic ultrasound procedures as required within the department, managing patient priority as appropriate. In particular all aspects of obstetric scanning e.g. dating, nuchal and growth scans
- Supervise and support other staff working and visiting the ultrasound dept
- Seek Radiologist advice as necessary
- Assist in and manage workflow and ensure all data inputs are recorded for both patient record integrity and statistical evaluation purposes
- Maintain a high level of technical and theoretical skills through personal CPD
- Participate in the Governance of the Department in areas including Risk Management, Health and Safety, Research and Audit activities
Requirements of the Sonographer:
- HCPC registration
- Relevant experience
