Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Tameside, within the Community & Hospital Urgent Care Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £25.02 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
The Integrated Urgent Care Team provides short term interventions to maximise independence and responds to urgent/crises situations to enable people to continue living in their own home for as long as possible.
The team is made up of staff from health and social care, working together to provide a holistic assessment and support plan to ensure outcomes are achieved and independence is maintained wherever possible.
The team provides support to Younger and Older Adults with varying degrees of disability, social complexities and vulnerability living in the community.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
