Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Social Worker/Social Worker to work full-time within a MASH Team based in Horsham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with Social Work England.

The salary for this permanent Senior/Social Worker job is £29,597 - £42,965 per annum.

Summary:

  • As the first point of contact with children and families, our social workers in MASH can influence their entire journeys. As a fast moving service everyone has a voice in relation to the development of the service and how everyone can make a difference to delivering the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Develop practice and build strong relationships with a wide range of partner agencies including police, health and housing professionals who are co-located and working together to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
  • We are looking for emotionally intelligent, organised, resilient individuals who are able to evidence the value they could add to our team. You will make sure that children and young people right across West Sussex are safeguarded and protected - promoting positive outcomes for their long-term needs and journey in life.
  • You will need to share our dedication and commitment to improving Children and Young People's lives and have the ability to make appropriate decisions with a clear analytical rational in a timely manner.

Requirements of the Senior/Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in Social Work
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • A minimum 2 years' experience within Children's Services
