Sanctuary Social Care has locum vacancy for a Social Worker/Senior Practitioner to work full-time based in Orkney Islands. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with SSSC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker/Senior Practitioner role is £38 - £42 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To undertake duty, CP investigations and Child in Need planning.
- Implementing both good practices informed by GIRFEC and Signs of safety regarding assessment planning and delivering a safe need led service to children and families in Orkney
Requirements of the Social Worker/Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current SSSC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Must have at least three years post qualifying experience in CP/LAC
- Must have a proven background in working and delivering GIRFEC
