Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated AMHP to work full-time in Wandsworth. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum AMHP job is £36 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties of the AMHP:
- To undertake statutory MHA assessments for the boroughs of Richmond and Wandsworth, complying with legislation and relevant codes of practice.
- To screen referrals.
- To participate on the "late worker" rota.
- To work collaboratively with internal and external partner agencies.
- To adhere to all SSA's policies and procedures.
- To promote equality, diversity, inclusion and strength-based practice.
- To understand duties and responsibilities for safeguarding children, young people and adults.
- To comply with the AMHP Regulations 2008.
- To undertake relevant training and participate in the AMHP Reflective Group Practice/AMHP Forums.
- To act as a Social Supervisor as required.
- To provide support and guidance to AMHP trainees.
Requirements of the AMHP:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
