Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Richmond, within the Single Point of Access Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- To support the SPA management by evaluating information and gathering further information as necessary to provide analysis of information with recommendations of further action.
- To meet deadlines as determined by the SPA Management.
- To support the SPA management to meet the demands of the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) process within the SPA.
- To support the SPA management to deliver an excellent customer experience by taking phone consultations and safeguarding calls to identify risk at the first point of contact and advise accordingly.
- To support the SPA management by contributing to the development of the SPA service and the provision of support across all functions of the SPA.
- To support the SPA management by contributing to the development of performance management and information monitoring systems across the service.
- To support the SPA management by representing the SPA by attending meetings and agencies to maintain and improve links with partners.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
