What you will do:
– Manage an allocated caseload including conducting safeguarding section 42 enquiries and care act assessments.
– Participate in multidisciplinary teams such as continuing health care assessments.
– Serve as a duty officer on a rota basis, contributing to the team dynamics and sharing your insights.
– Present cases as appropriate to funding panels, ensuring clarity and precision.
– Engage in case discussions with partners where applicable to specific cases.
– Remain cognisant of budgetary constraints facing councils while exercising legal duties.
– Spend time in the office for team meetings, mandatory training, and when on duty rota while also having opportunities to work from home periodically.
