What you will do:
- Conduct Section 47 child protection enquiries and take the lead on Child in Need and Child Protection plans, ensuring the safety and well-being of children.
- Work within Looked After Children or court proceedings, coordinating with schools, police and health services.
- Write detailed reports for court purposes, including parenting assessments and risk analysis.
- Participate in multi-agency safeguarding hub teams to ensure a collaborative approach to child protection.
- Ensure all work adheres to the Children Act 1989 and 2004, as well as the statutory guidance of Working Together to Safeguard Children.
