Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Safeguarding Team based in Bolton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £25.02 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
About the role:
- Caseload will be across Bolton with office base at Castle Hill.
- Flexible working in place- balance between working from home/office and statutory visits and court work to meet the needs of the service
- Free on site parking at office base
- Interviews for successful candidates will be conducted via Microsoft Teams or in a socially distanced meeting room
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- Social Worker with at least 6 month recent experience of Court work (reports, working within statutory deadlines, etc) within a Safeguarding Team
