Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in a Safeguarding Team in Stevenage. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The salary for this locum Social Worker job is £33,905 to £39,799 per annum (including market forces up to £5k & £1k welcome payment, terms apply) and is a permanent contract.

Duties:

  • Managing a complex and diverse caseload.
  • You will carry out assessments and develop plans to support families using leading edge practices to create effective solutions for the children and families that we work with.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work
  • Current HCPC registration
  • You must have excellent written and verbal skills as you will need to prepare and deliver welfare reports to conferences and court hearings.
  • At least one-year experience as well as completion of your ASYE .
