Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Lewisham, within the Safe Space Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
The new Safe Space team will be a multi-agency and creating a new practice model based on the ideas of contextual safeguarding to both safeguard and improve the outcomes for young people. The teams will be leading a new approach to working with young people who are affected by adolescent risks such as knife crime, child sexual exploitation and missing from home.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- Ensuring high practice standards
- Implementation of new practice framework
- Modelling of how best to work with young people and their families
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
