Locum Social Worker – Recruitment and Assessment Team in Stockton-on-Tees

This is an exciting opportunity for a social worker to join the Recruitment and Assessment Team in Stockton-on-Tees. Located at Dunedin House, Colombia Drive, Thornaby, the role involves assessing mainstream and kinship foster carers, as well as supported lodgings hosts. You will work collaboratively with team members and other agencies to carry out comprehensive fostering assessments in line with our guidelines.

What you will do:
- Conduct thorough assessments of potential and connected foster carers.
- Collaborate with fostering team members and external agencies.
- Ensure all assessments align with agreed policies and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all assessments and meetings.
- Provide professional advice and support to potential foster carers throughout the assessment process.
