Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has locum vacancies for Social Workers to work based in Wrexham, within the Older People’s Service.
The pay rates for these locum Social Worker jobs are £21.88 per hour (Assignment rate) and are initial 3-month contracts.
These placements are likely to be extended longer term for the right candidates and rates are negotiable for highly experienced workers who can produce outcome-focused care and support plans to deadlines.
Duties:
- Multi-agency working and some crisis intervention
- Work with citizens to promote levels of independence and assist in identifying and accessing resources within the community to help increase and maintain levels of independence
Requirements of the Social Workers:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Experience of Older People’s Services
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of the Social Services and Wellbeing Act
- A team player but also have the ability to work well under your own initiative
