Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within an Adults Early Intervention Vehicial Service based in Hemel Hempstead.

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adults services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £26 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.

Duties:

  • Professionals have immediate access to assistive equipment and are expected to work closely with
    local health and social care services to promote longer term recovery.

  • This role is well suited to assertive professionals, looking for a unique challenge, with sound crisis assessment skills and a passion for working with clients to optimise their wellbeing in their own home.

  • The Early Intervention Vehicle Service takes positive risks and works creatively and flexibly to enable older people to remain in their own home following an acute episode.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Professional Social Work qualification (e.g. Degree, DipSW, CQSW or CSS).

  • Registered Social Worker with HCPC

  • Must have experience of intensive case work

  • Experience of working with older people

  • Must be a car driver

  • QSW with strong Adults experience OR OT with strong Adults experience Strong assessment skills
