Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to work based in Southwark, within the No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) Team.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £27.27 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 1-month contract.

  • Based in Southwark Council’s Community Support Unit, and reporting to the unit’s Team Manager, the No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) Social Worker will assess the social care needs of migrants with no recourse to public funds.
  • Assess the social care needs of adults, and children of adults with no recourse to public funds, ensuring that support is provided to those who are most in need.
  • Be responsible for assessing people's support needs, and signposting those who are not eligible for support to other organisations for assistance.
  • Apply knowledge of immigration, human rights and social care to the work of the team and the assessments and reviews that you undertake.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work.
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Recent post-qualifying experience within frontline adult social work.
