Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Social Worker to work full-time within a Neighbourhood Support Team in Lewes. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £28 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- The post would offer the preferred candidate the opportunity to work in partnership with our clients undertaking Care Act (2014) compliant assessments, offering support, guidance and signposting where necessary.
- These are challenging roles and the part you play will ensure our service continues to develop, giving positive outcomes for vulnerable people who are assessed as meeting Adult Social Care's eligibility criteria
Requirements of the Senior Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults Services
- You will need to be confident and competent in assessing risk, undertaking mental capacity assessments, to have knowledge of Safeguarding Adults practice and be willing to develop in these areas.
