Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Social Worker to work full-time based in Woking, within the Multiagency Partnership Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £35.00 - £42.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Work in partnership to deliver the right help at the right time for children, young people and families
- Researching and analysing information about a child to understand the appropriate level of support required
- Be a key member of the Children-Single Point of Access and provide advice, guidance to referrers and partner agencies
- Explore whether the threshold for services is met as defined in the Effective Family Resilience Threshold Guidance, or whether other available Preventative Services are more appropriate
- Communicate effectively as part of a multi-agency team in matters where children may be in need or at risk of significant harm
- Undertake enquiries within 4/8 hours in order to produce an effective analysis of needs and to evidence presenting risk factors and strengths
- Contribute to the continued development of the Service through available opportunities and take responsibility for continued professional development
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children’s Services
