Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a locum vacancy for a Social Worker to work based in Hackney, within the Mental Health Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £30.01 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
Provide a high quality and effective mental health social work services to the residents of London Borough of Hackney
Work to assess the mental health and social care needs of people in accordance with the wellbeing principles of the Care Act and offer a personalised and strengths-based approach
Be responsible for managing a case load, conducting robust assessments in partnership with service users, their carers and multi-disciplinary partners where appropriate
Clearly identify outcomes that need to be achieved through provision of this service
Help people identify how best to meet their own longer term needs and aspirations by enabling them to identify appropriate recovery and asset based goals and building outcomes focused support plans
Be responsible for assessing and supporting and assessing risk
Operate within an agreed performance management and budgetary framework and with support from their line manager they will be responsible for assessing and managing risk, ensuring application of robust quality assurance and safeguarding procedures
Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current Social Work England registration
Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults’ Services
