Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Newham, within the Mental Health Review and Move on Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £28 - £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
The Review and Move on Team assesses and reviews the needs of customers who have mental health issues and are residing in Supported living or Residential placements. The team's approach is Recovery focused and works with customers' strengths while exploring their potential for independence. This is a well-established team that supports customers to move as seamlessly as possible from high support placements into independent or low support accommodation.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Must have experience of both supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, as well as of supporting people moving into more independent accommodation.
- Must have good communication and IT skills.
