Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Mental Health Team in Swindon. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adults' services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £31 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month ongoing contract.
Swindon Borough Council sets great value on the role of social work in supporting people who experience mental health difficulties and is investing in getting the right structure in place. This role will be 37 hours per week from 9 - 5pm Monday to Friday. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and dynamic multi-disciplinary team based at the Chatsworth House in Swindon. Swindon Recovery Service provides specialist mental health services to adults with functional mental illness across Swindon and comprises a multi-disciplinary team of Community Mental Health Nurses, Social Worker, Therapists and Care Co-ordinators.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adults' services
- Must be a car
