Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to work based in Lewisham, within the MASH Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £30 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 1-month contract.
Main Duties:
- Provide advice, support and protection as needed
- Provide a single point of access to the services that help keep adults-at-risk safe.
- Forge links with partner agencies and safeguarding leads in other areas as well as developing clearly understood pathways for safeguarding referrals from MASH into other Adult Social Work teams will be a major part of each role.
- Aim to improve the responses to safeguarding concerns through stronger links and better information sharing between organisations and agencies meaning that agencies will be able to act quickly, in a coordinated and consistent way to ensure better outcomes for adults at risk within the Borough.
- Hold a small caseload with short-term involvement and quick turn-over.
- Provide a timely and consistent response in terms of record keeping and the decision to progress to a Section 42 enquiry.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Recent post qualifying experience within frontline social work, including recent adult safeguarding experience.
