Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Bolton, within the Looked After Children Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £25.02 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
This is a busy and dynamic team offering a statutory service to Looked After Children, Care Leavers and Homeless Young People; some of whom will have very complex needs. We work with Young People from the age of 16 potentially up to 25 helping them to develop their Pathway into independence.
Remote and homeworking will be possible Mileage reimbursed in line with Council Policy.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- You must have excellent skills in assessment, analysis and planning as well as being comfortable in managing complex and challenging needs, risks and behaviours.
- Must understand the disadvantage faced by Care Leavers and be able to work creatively and collaboratively to redress this balance.
