Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Social Worker to work within a Looked After Children (LAC) Team based in Southwark.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £27.27 per hour (assignment rate) and has an initial 3-month contract.

Main duties:

  • Care proceedings work

  • Write statements and prepare paperwork for ADM when there is a plan of adoption

  • Work remotely but there are plans for some office based working and visits are face to face

  • Receive reflective supervision and attend fortnightly group supervision

  • Managing a caseload of 12-15 looked after children up to the age of 16

  • Carrying out all the statutory tasks such as LAC visits, LAC reviews/Pathway Plan reviews and PEPs

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work

  • Current Social Work England registration

  • Significant experience working within a similar role
