Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a permanent vacancy for a Social Worker to work within a Long-Term Child Protection Team based in Slough.
The pay rate for this permanent Social Worker role is £38,231-43,339 per annum depending on experience (pro-rata).
Main duties:
- Ensure that the needs of service users/carers from all communities are addressed, and that close attention is paid to equalities issues in all aspects of work
- Ensure access to translation and interpretation services as necessary
- Complete financial assessments and, where appropriate, to determine contributions and levels of need/service
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships at appropriate levels with other relevant partner agencies e.g. voluntary, community, schools, police, health other statutory agencies/local resource networks and internal partners
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant experience working within a similar role
