Sanctuary Social Care is looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work within an Adults Learning Disability Team based in Calderdale. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- The role will involve holding a caseload which will involve assessing individuals in line with the Care Act 2014, Upholding the rights of individuals.
- Working in a strength-based manner and identifying support to meet identified outcomes which would also take into account community-based services.
- The social worker will be based in a team of social workers and the team covers all of Calderdale.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adults services
