Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Kinship and Permanence Team based in Ealing. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £28 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- The Kinship Team (also called Connect 7) is part of the larger Connect service, It is primarily an assessment team focussing on the completion of Viability and Full assessments for families in care proceedings both public and private with a view to achieve permeance for children within their families where possible.
- The Connect Service is a unique and multi-disciplinary team of social workers and psychologists that supports children to achieve stability and permanence in their lives.
- The Service is made up of eight highly skilled teams with specific expertise in LAC work, Court work, Fostering recruitment and support, Kinship assessment and Family Finding
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- 2 years experience as a social worker
