Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Hertfordshire, within the Joint Child Protection Investigation Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this permanent Social Worker job is £39,782 - £42,683 per annum.
Duties of the Social Worker:
- Supporting less experienced members of the team
- Managing the duty system on a rota basis
- Including facilitating strategy meetings and allocation of cases in the absence of the team manager
- Providing management cover as appropriate
- Personal supervision of Children's Practitioners
- Taking a lead in practice development
- Supporting the team manager.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
