Sanctuary Personnel, an award-winning and renowned Recruitment Agency is looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time based in Rotherham, within the Integrated Discharge Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £32.99 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Support people and their carers to return to their own homes to build on their strengths, assets and abilities to maximise their independence and wherever possible self-manage
- Work closely with health colleagues and other partners to enable people to meet their outcomes and lead good lives
- Work with adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, older adults and their carers, who are requesting assessment and support from the council
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Strong knowledge and experience of working within the statutory legal frameworks governing adult social care and have experience of safeguarding adults and Continuing Health Care
