Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Leicester, within the initial Assessment Team.
The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £27 - £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Your role you will be required to undertake single assessments; Child protection enquires and initial court proceedings.
- Using a variety of social work skills and methods, you will be working with children and families to offer short-term interventions to resolve their circumstances with our support.
- You will responsible for efficient caseload management and work in accordance with the Division's child care policies and relevant child care legislation.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
