Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in a Community Hospital Team in Stockport. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £25.02 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Must complete 7.4 hours per day between 8am - 8pm depending on individual and business needs.
This role currently involves mainly working from home and remotely reviewing patients who have been discharged to their own homes or other community settings from hospitals with temporary support arranged and funded by the NHS. A few reviews will require face-to-face client contact and would be fully risk assessed by a manager before doing so.
Patients are being triaged by an NHS community Hub and offered rehab support either at home or in residential settings if suitable. We are therefore picking up those who have been placed in Short Term Beds or at home with POC.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within a hospital service
- Competent using liquid logic as no training can be provided at this time
