Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in Manchester in a Hospital Discharge Team. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Adults' Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £25.02 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3 month contract.
We are looking for experienced Social Workers who can support citizens discharged from hospital into the community in a new response team. There will be one team in each locality.
The team will operate from 8am to 8pm, 7 days per week so individuals submitted MUST be able to work weekends on a rota pattern working 5 days over 7 within those hours.
You will receive a 6.7% flexibility payment for working weekends.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults' Services
- Post qualified discharge experience
