Sanctuary Personnel, a leading and award-winning recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time based in Torquay, within the Fostering Team.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £35.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
This role will be mostly home based but there will be a requirement to visit households for assessment visits. The Social Worker will also be part of a duty rota during which they will be expected to contribute to viability assessments, completing the fostering parts. The majority of the Social Worker’s work will be completing SGO assessments (which involves the potential to have to give evidence in court), reg 24 & Connected carer assessments and form F applicants (mainstream foster carers). The Social Worker will also be responsible for delivering skills to foster training on a rota basis.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current Social Work England registration
Previous experience within a frontline social work fostering team
