Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company to the private and public sector has a permanent vacancy for a Social Worker to work based in Rochester, within the Fostering Team.
The salary for this permanent Social Worker job is £35,541 - £39,532 per annum.
Duties:
Contribute to the delivery of a highly effective Children’s Social Care Service, taking responsibility for working and managing a caseload within a framework of appropriate supervision
Work with foster carers, children and families to support vulnerable service users ensuring the needs of the child remain paramount
Assess, plan, use evidence-based analytical practice to implement and evaluate safeguarding measures to ensure all children are given the opportunity to reach their full potential
Work to a structured time management practice; submitting reports, assessments and plans within regulated timescales
Maintain accurate written and computerised records, in accordance with agreed procedures and in order to meet legislative responsibilities
Co-ordinate, and take a lead role in multi-professional/ agency groups and other professional meetings
adhere to and uphold the codes of conduct set out by Medway Council and Social Work England
Requirements of the Social Worker:
Degree or equivalent in social work
Current Social Work England registration
Significant senior level frontline experience within Children’s Services
Be competent in all areas of the PCF at the Social Worker level and The Knowledge and Skills Statement (KSS) for approved child and family practitioners
