Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a First Response Team based in Telford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £25.02 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Summary:
- The post holder will have a high level of competence in working in partnership with other parties.
- You will be required to communicate effectively with children, families, partner agencies and members of the public.
- The post holder will need to screen a high volume of information accurately and be able to make evidence based recommendations regarding children's needs and appropriate interventions.
- You will have an ability to work effectively under pressure within short timescales (under 24 hours).
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
- 2 years post qualifying experience required
