Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Family Social Care Service based in London. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current HCPC registration
- A minimum 2 years' experience within Children's Services
- Experience of Long Term Work covering CIN, CP and Court Work
- Ability to write clear analytical reports
- Ability to present information in a range of meetings in a clear, concise and respectful manner
- Ability to work effectively with partners in other agencies
- Good knowledge of legislation, policy and procedure
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to use line management appropriately to manage risk
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to participate in Duty and to be able to respond effectively in a crises.
