Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full time within a Family Safeguarding Team based in Luton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £28 - £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.
There are 5 teams for this model - North, East, South, West & Central - The new model will be being phased out across the teams one by one - therefore you will need to bear in mind there will be a period of transition in which training will be being provided from the DfE funding to all involved.
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Strong understanding of the 'Toxic Trio'
