Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time within a Family Placement Team based in Bracknell. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker role is £31.87 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities:

To work as part of the family placement team. Primarily undertaking Special Guardianship and connected person assessments. These assessment will often need to be completed in tight timeframes. There may be a requirement to undertake other responsibilities as part of the team such as supervising social worker, duty, private fostering assessment and family finding. Good communication with the other CSC teams required. Contribute to the provision of a social work service ensuring children's views are heard. Social Workers will work within the context of relevant legislation and will deliver services according to the Bracknell Forest's policies, procedures and guidelines.

Requirements of the Social Worker:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work

  • Current HCPC registration

  • Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
